The Ice Spire


When you start the game with this mod enabled, it turns out that you have inherited a mansion known as the Ice Spire. Its location is now marked on your map. Go there immediately and enter. The first thing you will see will be the magazine of the former owner. Read it to find out the name of the store where you can buy upgrades.: This is the Mystic Emporium in the Imperial City Market District.

Talk to Aurelinwae and buy all the expansion packs: Alchemy Lab, Bedroom, Library and Storage. Also buy two sets of Magetallow Candles (they are at the bottom of the list). The quest is over, and you've just got the coolest house in the game (even better than other plugin extensions). Go there and use candles on the Altar of Enchantment and the Altar of Spells.

Now, what do we have here? There are two altars mentioned above in the main hall that allow you to cast spells and enchant items. The central altar allows you to summon Atronachs, creatures that will serve and obey you. They don't have any time limits, so they will exist until they are defeated in battle or dismissed at your behest. You can summon a Storm Atronach (requires 3 Voids), a Fire Atronach (3 Fire Salts), or a Frost Atronach (3 Frost Salts). You can give them commands by approaching and activating them. You will then receive a dialog box allowing you to choose whether they should follow you, wait, or be dismissed. You can only own one Atronach at a time.

In the Living Area you will see a huge botanical garden, an alchemist's paradise. There are even daedric plants, and they're almost impossible to find once you clear all the oblivion-based quests. An altar nearby boosts your alchemy skill by 15 points when you're near it, so stay close to it when you're mixing potions. There is also a balcony that allows you to instantly teleport to any outpost of the Guild of Magicians in Cyrodiil, including the University of Arcana.
